Enjoying the Butterfly
My degree in Fine Arts and Communications played a crucial role in developing my skills. I chose a lifelong career in graphic design but I will never let go of my love for painting with oils and watercolors.
I am glad I’ve found a way to embrace different forms of creativity—it brings me a lot of joy.
To continue growing as an artist, I frequently participate in painting workshops—there’s always something new to learn, and I cherish every opportunity to expand my horizons.
Pricing and Preparation for Commissioned Artwork
Pricing for 2025 is $3/square inch for pet portraits in oil. I normally use a standard frame-friendly canvas size. I accept other subjects for painting commissions—let's discuss!
All commissions are paid after your review and only if you are satisfied with the results.
Please provide a photo of your furry friend that is most endearing to you. I can change the background, but I can't change the expression or position, so find a photo that captures the personality of your pet. Take a photo with natural light that shows the pet's true colors and has some highlights. It will be good to have a conversation about your pet to help me get a feeling for what you are looking for.
I will need 2- 3 weeks for painting once we schedule. So if you are gifting a portrait please plan well in advance. Frames and shipping costs are not included.
I look forward to capturing your furry pals, whether they're a horse, a dog, a hamster, or a pig! They are so important to have in our lives.
Joyfully,
C Wiley
